Summary: This study systematically assessed the methodological quality of guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) and found that the quality varied. The recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of CDI in the guidelines were heterogeneous, with some recommendations lacking evidence and relying on low-level evidence. There is also a lack of unified classification criteria for the severity of CDI. Guideline developers need to improve these factors to further update the guidelines.

Summary: Esophageal cancer is a prevalent malignancy with poor survival rates. Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy combined with surgery is the standard treatment, but it has limited effectiveness. Recent advancements in immunotherapy have shown potential in increasing the survival of resectable esophageal cancer patients. Combining chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy may have a synergistic antitumor effect. This review discusses the rationale, clinical outcomes, ongoing investigations, and research requirements for neoadjuvant immunotherapy in resectable esophageal cancer patients.

Summary: CD30, a glycosylated protein receptor, acts as a tumor marker found on the surface of certain cells. This receptor plays a critical role in diagnosing various diseases, including Hodgkin lymphoma, embryonal carcinoma, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. In addition to its diagnostic significance, CD30-targeted therapies show promising potential for treating CD30-positive lymphomas and autoimmune disorders.
