Summary: This study evaluated the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential of hydroethanolic extract of T. foenum-graecum seeds. The extract exhibited significant antioxidant activity and was non-toxic to human and murine cells. It also showed a concentration-dependent reduction in inflammatory markers and improved antioxidant levels against oxidative stress. The hydroethanolic extract of T. foenum-graecum is a potential source of phenolic compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Therefore, biogenically synthesized AgNPs offer a prospective potential for use in wastewater remediation strategies.

Summary: Cryotropic gelation is a common method to design novel hydrogels with multifaceted functionalities. This study focused on the formation of physically crosslinked hydrogels using highly galactosyl-substituted galactomannans like fenugreek and alfalfa gum via cryogenic processing. Results showed that alfalfa gum-based cryogels had higher elasticity and stiffness compared to fenugreek counterparts, and blending with locust bean gum enhanced the mechanical properties without altering microstructural aspects significantly.

This study focused on the accumulation and defense mechanisms of fenugreek plants exposed to arsenic stress. The findings showed increased oxidative stress and DNA damage at higher arsenic concentrations.

Summary: Biogenic synthesis of nanoparticles using fenugreek is an environmentally friendly and safe method with potential biomedical applications. The synthesized silver nanoparticles showed stable properties and exhibited efficient photocatalytic and antibacterial activities, making them promising for various practical uses. The characterization of nanoparticles using UV-vis spectroscopy and electron microscopes confirmed their properties, showing great potential for further research and development in nanoscience.
