A novel solvothermal-precursor method is designed to prepare uniform assembled microspherical LiMO2 (layered Li transition metal oxide) cathodes for high energy and power Li-ion batteries. The LiMO2 assembled microspheres exhibit superior long-termcycle stability and rate capability.
