Summary: The study finds that the G7, G20, and BRICS countries are funding more clean stimulus in response to COVID-19, with the G7 members leading in terms of clean stimulus proportion. This highlights the significant governance role and norm entrepreneurship potential of plurilateral summit institutions in implementing the Global Green New Deal.

Summary: This study explores the current state, barriers, and enablers of interdisciplinary collaboration in global health (GH) in Germany. The findings indicate limited interdisciplinary exchange in the German academic sector, with specific barriers and enablers identified. The importance of interdisciplinary approach is recognized, but the challenge lies in identifying GH topics suitable for collaboration and establishing common goals for interdisciplinary research.

Summary: This article aims to examine the predictability of multiple uncertainty indices for G7 stock market volatility during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study utilizes a Heterogeneous AutoRegressive Realized Volatility (HARRV) model and a combination forecast framework. The results show that incorporating all uncertainty indices improves the forecasting performance for most stock markets' volatility, both during the pandemic and in a long out-of-sample period. The findings are robust across alternative models, measures, and analyses.

Summary: This paper examines the dynamic spillover interconnectedness of G7 Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) markets using various methods. The results show that the REITs network connectedness is dynamic and experiences changes during the COVID-19 outbreak. Different countries' REITs act as net receivers or transmitters of spillovers, and this role can change during the pandemic. Additionally, factors such as news sentiment, geopolitical risk, economic policy uncertainty, US Treasury yield, and stock volatility influence the magnitude of spillovers.

Summary: The study examines the factors that facilitate or hinder the achievement of carbon neutrality in G7 economies. Factors such as natural resource dependence, eco-innovation, green energy, carbon tax, environmental policy stringency, and financial development are considered. The empirical findings suggest that green energy, carbon tax, and environmental policy support the drive towards carbon neutrality, while natural resource dependence and financial development hinder it.

Summary: Extending Okun's law to allow for time-dependent response of unemployment to output changes leads to Okun loops, which are an example of anelastic relaxation in economics. These loops have been regularly observed in the US economy since WWII and in all G7 countries. The anelastic form of Okun's law provides a statistically significant and operationally parsimonious representation of output-unemployment dynamics in all G7 countries.

Summary: The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown measures on suicide rates in Germany was investigated. Overall, the suicide rate in 2020 was not significantly different from baseline, but the weekly analysis revealed some weeks with higher rates compared to previous years. During the first lockdown, the suicide mortality rate was significantly lower than expected, but in the post-lockdown period, it was not significantly different. Changes in the choice of suicide methods were also observed during the lockdown.

Summary: This paper provides a comprehensive overview of today's ammonia trade and assesses scaling options for the trade of green ammonia, focusing on its role as the first green hydrogen carrier. An optimization model is developed to assess the green ammonia value chain, considering different technology options and cost minimal operation. Results show that green ammonia can achieve cost parity with gray ammonia in certain conditions, and cracking ammonia for pure hydrogen incurs additional costs.
