Summary: The study revealed that WCPFSRSF could ameliorate oxidative stress, promote the Nrf2-mediated defense system, and potentially reduce ROS generation by inhibiting NF kappa B. Additionally, WCPFSRSF showed potential as a radical scavenger and Nrf2 activator, with its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects possibly related to the presence of Cys and Trp. Furthermore, WCPFSRSF exhibited memory-improving effects in sleep-deprived mice, highlighting its potential as a candidate against neurotoxicity and memory deficits.

Summary: This study found that DE could inhibit inflammatory responses mediated by IL-1 beta by reducing the secretion of inflammatory factors and preventing extracellular matrix collapse. Molecular docking analysis indicated strong binding affinity of DE with PI3K inhibitory targets. In an animal model of OA, DE treatment improved articular cartilage destruction and reduced serum inflammatory factors, suggesting potential for osteoarthritis treatment.

Summary: OA is characterized by destruction of articular cartilage and inflammation plays a key role in its progression. Maslinic acid (MA) from olive fruit has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects. In in vitro and in vivo experiments, MA was found to attenuate inflammatory mediators and inhibit the progression of OA disease.

Summary: This study elucidated the role of MLPH in GBM radiation resistance, showing that MLPH promotes radiotherapy resistance by regulating the NF-kappa B pathway. Additionally, O-GlcNAcylation of MLPH protects it from degradation and stabilizes its presence in cells. These findings provide insights into a potential mechanism of GBM radiation resistance and suggest a therapeutic strategy for GBM treatment.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects and mechanism of Asiatic acid (AA) on osteosarcoma (OS) cells. The results showed that AA inhibited cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, as well as induced apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in vitro. In vivo experiments also demonstrated that AA inhibited OS growth and lung metastasis in mice. Further analysis suggested that AA may exert its effects by inhibiting the PI3K/AKT and NF-kappa B signaling pathways. These findings provide important insights for the clinical application and development of AA.
