Summary: In this study, a selective removal method for total Cr from wastewater was developed using chitosan and biochar modified-FeS (CTS-FeS@BC). The results showed that CTS-FeS@BC significantly enhanced the efficiency of Cr(VI) removal and exhibited excellent selectivity in metal cations-Cr binary solutions and complex water matrices.

Summary: Our understanding of canine coat colour genetics and associated health implications is progressing rapidly. There are 15 known genes involved in canine coat colour phenotypes, but some complex and/or epistatic genetic interactions remain unidentified. Some genes related to canine pigmentation have been linked to impairments in hearing, vision, and neurological functions. Therefore, investigating coat pigmentation in domestic dogs holds significant ethical and economic importance.

Summary: The first enantioselective total syntheses of six natural and two proposed meroterpenoids from Psoralea corylifolia have been achieved in 7-9 steps from 2-methylcyclohexanone. These synthetic approaches offer a high level of flexibility, stereodivergent fashion, and short route, providing a potential platform for the preparation of various this-type meroterpenoids and their pseudo-natural products.

Summary: An error in Proposition 2.2 of the paper "Stochastic explosion and non-uniqueness for a-Riccati equation" [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 476 (2019) 53-85] is corrected in this erratum. The revised result reveals a new and unexpected critical phenomena, with further implications for non-uniqueness of solutions to a nonlinear differential equation of the Riccati type.

Summary: The recent discovery of an error in the sufficient condition of a previous paper led to the introduction of a correct condition involving lattice-cross concept for Heisenberg uniqueness pair. This new condition was proven for the hyperbola in the plane, demonstrating the existence of Heisenberg uniqueness pair.

Summary: A naphthopyran derivative with a suitably positioned hydroxyl group was synthesized and characterized. The derivative formed complexes with metal ions, and showed a noticeable color change in the presence of Cu2+ ions. The metal binding was analyzed using UV-vis spectrophotometry and digital colorimetry, and the formation of complexes was investigated using density functional theory and time-dependent theory.

Summary: Selective laser sintering (SLS) is used to manufacture pharmaceutical dosage forms with drug delivery systems. This research introduces carbonyl iron as a multifunctional ingredient for making oral tablets via SLS 3DP process. The effects of magnetic iron particles on drug release from SLS printed tablets under a magnetic field were studied. Optimization was done by adjusting printing parameters, and tablets with carbonyl iron had better quality attributes and released more drugs under the magnetic field.

Summary: Chiral transition metal complexes with privileged ligands are efficient catalysts for various asymmetric organic transformations. Transition metal complexes of C1-symmetric pyrrolidine-based ligands have been widely used in asymmetric organic reactions. However, a comprehensive review article on the transition metal complexes of chiral C1-symmetric pyrrolidine-based ligands derived from (L)-proline has not been published.
