Recyclable heterogeneous Cu-nanoparticles efficiently catalyzed the one-pot three-component Mannich reaction of ketones, aromatic aldehydes and amines in methanol. This method provides a novel and improved method for obtaining P-amino carbonyl compounds in terms of good yield with little catalyst loading. (c) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
