Summary: Chronic cough is a common complaint in the pediatric population and can stem from various causes. A rare case of tracheal lobular capillary hemangioma (LCH), or pyogenic granuloma, was found to be the source of chronic cough in a child, which was successfully managed with laser ablation. Only two other reported pediatric cases of tracheal LCH could be found in the literature.

Summary: This study describes the clinical and pathological features of lobular capillary hemangioma (LCH) in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. LCHs in the GI tract often manifest as colorectal polyps, typically small in size and can be multifocal. Follow-up information showed no same-site recurrence in the patients.

Summary: Lobular capillary hemangioma (LCH) is a rare vascular lesion that is commonly found in the oral and nasal cavities but rarely in the trachea, especially in pediatric patients. This case report describes a unique case of tracheal LCH in an 11-year-old boy with a history of hemoptysis, which was successfully managed with arterial embolization followed by electrocautery loop snaring via flexible bronchoscopy. The case highlights the importance of considering tracheal LCH in the differential diagnosis for hemoptysis.

Summary: Pyogenic granuloma, a reactive connective tissue disorder, commonly occurs in the maxillary and mandibular gingiva. Surgical resection or laser excision, along with removal of local irritants, is the recommended management method to prevent recurrence. In this case report, a 28-year-old female patient with recurrent painless swelling in the lower front gums underwent surgical excision and removal of calculus. The swelling did not recur after the excision, highlighting the importance of complete excision and removal of local irritants in preventing recurrence.

Summary: Hemangiomas are common tumors characterized by massive proliferation of blood vessels, often present at birth and becoming more apparent throughout life. Rarely seen in the oral cavity, especially those associated with palatal mucosa. This case report presents a rare capillary hemangioma of palatal mucosa in a 2-month-old infant.

Summary: In this paper, two female patients with neck masses were reported. The tumors in the neck veins were white oval masses with pedicle, clearly defined, and of different sizes. Immunohistochemical staining showed positive results for CD31, CD34, SMA, and ERG. The pathological diagnosis was intravenous lobular capillary hemangioma. This lesion needs to be distinguished from other intravascular lesions such as thrombus, hemangiosarcoma, and papillary endothelial hyperplasia based on its location, morphology, and immunohistochemistry.

Summary: This study reports 4 cases of patients in the Oral Medicine OPD with painless malformations, which were diagnosed as lobular capillary hemangioma through thorough history taking, clinical examination, and excisional biopsy. The discussion emphasizes the importance of using a proper diagnostic entity to facilitate coordination among oral physicians, oral pathologists, and oral surgeons in framing the treatment plan.

Summary: This case report presented a rare case of capillary hemangioma located in the renal hilum initially suspected as a paraganglioma. Surgery is recommended to reduce the risk of compression symptoms and to rule out malignancy in cases of growing retroperitoneal masses, with a preference for renal-sparing procedures.

Summary: A halo phenomenon is observed in association with various skin neoplasms, including seborrheic keratosis, surgical scars, basal cell carcinoma, melanocytic neoplasms, and vascular lesions. It can occur following treatment with antineoplastic drugs, acquisition of COVID-19, occurrence of a visceral tumor, surgery, and Turner syndrome. The phenomenon can also be observed in patients with congenital or acquired vascular lesions. The presence of melanocytes with loss of melanin pigment suggests a possible post-inflammatory etiology for halo lobular capillary hemangioma.
