Summary: The paper discusses the structures, naming, and anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis activity of cyclopeptides such as rufomycin and ilamycin. Through NMR spectroscopy, the configuration and diastereoisomers of these compounds were determined, and semisynthetic derivatives were prepared for validation. Structural differences and conformers were analyzed to understand the biological activity of these compounds, leading to a unified nomenclature for the group.

Summary: The author argues for an account of know-how as a capacity for practical judgment, derived from Gilbert Ryle. They offer an interpretation of Ryle, correct misconceptions, point out problems with Ryle's account, and present their own view which retains Ryle's insights while avoiding his mistakes.

Summary: This study revisits the issue of conditional bias in geostatistics, discussing the two different types of conditional bias and potential methods for correction. The results show that while conditional bias can be corrected using different approaches, there are limitations to each method.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel impact welding method called water-augmented vaporizing foil actuator welding, which introduces liquid water to alter the foil's vaporization process and improve the welding performance. Comparative experiments confirm that the proposed process reduces energy requirements, increases peel strength, and improves the stability of the weld window. Three potential mechanisms, including increased electrical energy deposition, additional energy from the aluminum-water reaction, and a more efficient force-transfer medium, are proposed to explain the process improvement. In summary, this paper introduces a new impact welding method with improved process capability and robustness, which may stimulate interest in the community of high velocity metalworking.

Summary: This paper investigates the effects of higher-curvature corrections on the spectrum of primordial tensor perturbations. It shows that observable violation of the tensor consistency relation from higher-curvature tensors can lead to relatively large changes in tensor tilt. This may leave signatures in the tensor two-point function that can be tested to identify higher-curvature effects, especially if they result in a blue tilted spectrum visible in future gravitational wave experiments.

Summary: This study examines the impact of social media activities on price discovery following rumor clarifications in China's A-share market. The findings suggest that social media activities intensify the short-term market's response to clarification announcements, but the long-term effects are uncertain.

Summary: This article responds to a commentary on the Attitudes-Behaviors Corrective (ABC) Model of Violent Extremism, comparing it with another model developed by Clark McCauley and Sophia Moskalenko. It further distinguishes the core and optional extra elements of the ABC model, explains how the model interprets individuals involved in violence for the interests of the group, unpacks the concept of ideology, and provides recommendations on measuring attitudes and behaviors in specific contexts.

Summary: The triple collocation analysis is a method used to infer the random uncertainty of three datasets measuring the same geophysical variable. The study found that the choice of triple collocation algorithm does not significantly affect the results, and the random uncertainty of the datasets is mainly related to wind speed and sea surface temperature.
