Summary: Two Lu2O@C-80 isomers, Lu2O@C-1(31876)-C-80 and Lu2O@C-2v(5)-C-80, were successfully isolated and identified using X-ray crystallography. The unprecedented cage structure of C-1(31876)-C-80 with adjacent pentagons can undergo a two-step Stone-Wales transformation to closely connect with C-2v(5)-C-80. The C-1(31876)-C-80 cage plays a crucial role in the transformation map of oxide cluster fullerenes, filling a gap in the formation process.

Summary: The cost-effectiveness analysis of the Community-based Hypertension Improvement Project (ComHIP) in Ghana showed that the intervention may not be cost-effective, with high costs per disability-adjusted life-year (DALY) averted under both current and full local implementation scenarios. The results suggest that the societal costs of ensuring appropriate hypertension care through ComHIP are high and may not produce sufficient impact for cost-effective implementation. The effectiveness estimates are limited by the quality of evidence, which is based on observational data rather than randomized controlled studies.

Summary: This study reports the development, implementation, and evaluation of a novel taxonomy of efficiency improvement strategies in public health systems. A total of 263 unique strategies were identified and classified based on an audit of efficiency improvement strategies implemented in the New South Wales health system. The use of the taxonomy was associated with a reduction in duplication, improved access to knowledge, and increased engagement with efficiency improvement processes.

Summary: The study examined vaccine hesitancy and a measles outbreak in Rwanda using systems thinking, human-centered design, and behavioral frameworks. Factors influencing hesitancy were categorized into confidence, complacency, and convenience, with a conceptual model developed to explain mechanisms. Trust in vaccines and service providers, community health workers, and a strong sense of community were identified as key factors affecting vaccine uptake. Service accessibility and follow-up were identified as factors increasing hesitancy. The conceptual model can guide interventions to increase vaccine uptake.

Summary: Many leading journals in ecology and evolution require open data upon publication, but there is little oversight to ensure data completeness and reusability. This study found that data archiving quality was associated with the identity of the principal investigator (PI), but not with journal open data policy, PI gender, or PI corresponding author status. Improving research data management training and culture within PI groups may be crucial for enhancing data archiving quality.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the possible effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on long-distance running training. The analysis of running training records from athletes around the world revealed a decrease in the number of athletes, distance, and duration of running training in 2020 compared to 2019. There were significant variations in these variables throughout 2020, and running training in Brazil appeared to be the most affected by the pandemic and restriction measures.

Summary: This study aims to evaluate the multi-level facilitators and barriers to the implementation of the In Our DNA SC population-wide genomic screening initiative. The findings indicate lower engagement rates among Asian and Black individuals, highlighting the need for strategies to address participation barriers for diverse populations. However, once enrolled, individuals showed high rates of study completion and engagement with genetic counselors.
