Data on biodegradation of flax fibers of different chemical composition, structure of cellulose, and included natural impurities (pectic compounds, lignin, and hemicelluloses) are presented. The influence of silver nanoparticles immobilized in the fiber on biodegradation of the objects under study is evaluated. It is demonstrated that this effect depends on the concentration and size of nanoparticles in the polymer matrix. DOI: 10.1134/S1070363212130142
