Aims. Radio loud narrow line type 1 galaxies provide us with a fresh look at the blazar phenomenon, the causes of radio loudness, said the physics of jet formation. We present a rnulti-wavelength study of the radio mud narrow line type 1 quasar RX J2314.9+2243, which exhibits some remarkable multi-wavelength properties. It is among the few radio-loud narrow -line type 1 galaxies, with a tentative y-ray detection, is luminous in the infrared, and shows an exceptionally broad and blueshifted 0111] 15007 emission-line component. Methods. In order to understand the nature of this source, we have obtained optical, UV, X-ray, and radio observations of RX J2314.9+2243. Results. Its spectral energy distribution (SED) shows a broad hump extending between the IR and far4 N, a steep radio spectrum and flat X-ray spectrum. Its IR to far UV SED is consistent with a scenario, in which synchrotron emission from a jet dominates the broadband emission, even though an absorption scenario cannot yet be fully excluded. The high blueshift of its very broad [OIII] component, 1260 krn s(-1). is consistent with a face-on view, with the jet (and outflow) pointing towards us. RX J2314.9+2243 likely represents an extreme case of AGN induced feedback in the local universe.

Summary: The Event Horizon Telescope observed the compact radio source, Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*), in the Galactic Center and found its variability on short timescales of up to 1 minute at millimeter wavelengths. Summary: This study presents a framework for characterizing the variability power spectrum of emission structures around supermassive black holes. The authors applied this framework to a library of simulations and observed images relevant to the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). They found that the power spectrum of variability is generally a red-noise process in both temporal and spatial dimensions, with the highest power occurring on the longest timescales and largest spatial scales. The study also explores the ability of variability studies to constrain physical parameters and provides specific expectations for the behavior of accretion flows in M87* and Sgr A*.

Summary: Based on our Swift monitoring program, OJ 287 is well-monitored in the X-ray-UV-optical regime. We report the results of our radio monitoring of OJ 287 between 2015 and 2022, including Fermi gamma-ray observations. We analyze the radio flux and spectral variability, discuss its connection with multiwavelength emission, and study the extraordinary 2016/2017 outburst.

Summary: We report the first >99% confidence detection of X-ray polarization in BL Lacertae, which was observed during a recent X-ray/gamma-ray outburst. The X-ray data suggest that the IXPE energy band is at the crossover between the low- and high-frequency blazar emission humps. Significant variability and polarization were observed, and the relative contribution from each emission hump was determined. The findings support the dominance of synchrotron self-Compton emission over hadronic emission processes during the observed epochs.

Summary: This paper reports the fourth installment of the LAMOST quasar survey, which includes 13,066 reliably identified quasars observed between 2017 and 2021. Among them, 6,685 are newly discovered and not reported in previous catalogs. The spectra were recalibrated using multi-band photometric data, allowing measurement of emission-line properties and continuum luminosities. Single-epoch virial black hole masses were also estimated. The survey has led to the discovery of a large number of new quasars and provides a database for studying spectral variability and rare quasar types.
