A series of novel fluorescent conjugates of oligo(2'-O-methylribonucleotides) containing insertions of 2'-bispyrenylmethylphosphorodiamidate derivatives of ribonucleosides (Urd, Cyd) were synthesized and their fluorescent properties were studied. The possibility to detect in solution the RNA transcript of the 5'-terminal fragment (1-678) of mRNA of the multidrug resistance gene mdr1 was demonstrated using synthesized multipyrene probes.
