New acids based on bis(dicarbollide)cobalt [8-HOOC(CH2) (n) NH2(CH2CH2O)(2)-3,3'-Co(1,2-C2B9H10)(1',2'-C2B9H11)] (n = 1, 3) were obtained by the reaction of its 1,4-dioxane derivative with omega-amino acid esters and subsequent removal of the protection.
