Summary: This study proposes a hierarchical co-clustering with augmented matrices (HICCAM), which simultaneously classifies row and column objects of data matrices and utilizes augmented data matrices from external domains to improve classification accuracy and cluster interpretability. Experimental results on document clustering and multiview synthetic datasets demonstrate that HICCAM achieves high accuracy and exhibits hierarchical relationships in its clusters.

Summary: The study presents chiral assemblies with dual-stimuli responsiveness, consisting of planar-chiral pillar[5]arenes with azobenzene groups that undergo chiral amplification and collapse under thermo- and photostimuli control. The alignment of azobenzenes in the assemblies leads to chiral propagation and amplification, which can be switched on and off through trans to cis photoisomerization and cis to trans thermo-isomerization of the azobenzene groups.

Summary: In this study, a new and dynamically stable helical chiral co-assembled system bearing BOPPY was developed, which exhibited amplified CPL signals and exceptional chiroptical performance. These stable chiral co-assemblies prepared at high concentrations retained uniform microrods and exceptional chiroptical performance (glum = 0.028, phi F = 14%) even after 48 hours.

Summary: The present form of urbanization pattern in India cannot meet the water demand in cities, especially in semi-arid regions. Traditional knowledge of water resilience has been used in India for a long time, and it is now the right time to combine traditional and modern technology to address water issues. This paper explores the usage of traditional knowledge in water management in semi-arid areas and suggests ways to achieve water resilience through co-production of water at a local level. It also highlights the degradation of the water system due to urban expansion and proposes ways to restore it and involve various actors for sustainability and resilience, while addressing SDG 6 and using ISO/BIS standards.

Summary: Developing rapid detection technology for adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is crucial in quality supervision and food safety. In this study, an electrochemical aptasensor was constructed using polyethyleneimine-functionalized molybdenum disulfide (PEI-MoS2)/Au@PtPd nanobipyramids as a modification material. A novel nitrogen-rich covalent organic framework (COF) was prepared using melamine and cyanuric acid (MCA). The aptasensor showed high sensitivity and a wide range of ATP detection ability.

Summary: The article advances the knowledge on ISO 9001 implementation by examining the roles of external auditors and certification bodies. The findings show that the quality of external auditors enhances operational outcomes and strengthens the relationship between ISO 9001 implementation and operational outcomes. On the other hand, the reputation of certification bodies has a positive direct effect on market-oriented outcomes and its effect is strengthened by the quality of ISO 9001 implementation.

Summary: The ssNet integration technique allows for the construction of PFINs from a single database, eliminating the need for an external Gold Standard dataset while producing comparable network performance and reducing data loss. It scores and integrates high-throughput and low-throughput data in a consistent manner, overcoming challenges such as data redundancy and Gold Standard bias. The ssNet method provides a more efficient and complete approach to building functional integrated networks.

Summary: This study reveals the importance of saturated fatty acids (SFAs) in the follicular fluid for rescuing the inhibitory effects of unsaturated fatty acids (USFs) on estradiol production. SFAs restore the expression of gonadotropin receptors and aromatase, and inhibit the USF-induced ERK and Akt signaling pathways, with ERK1/2 acting as a negative regulator of estradiol synthesis.

Summary: Pollution from microplastics and nanoplastics poses a significant environmental issue, threatening human and animal health. While research on the effects of plastic pollution on aquatic species is abundant, there are few studies focusing on the pathophysiological consequences of microplastic exposure on mammalian reproductive systems. Existing studies have shown that plastic particles can cause oxidative stress, apoptosis, inflammatory responses, endocrine disruption, and organ accumulation. Additionally, microplastics have been found to impact microbial communities and contribute to the exchange of antibiotic and metal resistance genes. Attention should be given to livestock as they produce food with the potential for biological amplification of plastic pollution. Accumulation of microplastics and nanoplastics in human and animal tissues has been observed with negative effects, but the long-term consequences are not yet fully understood. This review provides an overview of the adverse effects of micro- and nanoplastic exposure on livestock and assesses the potential risks to reproductive functions.

Summary: This study analyzed the effects of milk replacer feeding on the number and gene expression characteristics of granulosa cells in cattle. The results showed that the number of granulosa cells in puberty was not affected by the number of follicles in the group fed less milk replacer, while in the group fed more milk replacer, the number of granulosa cells increased with the number of follicles. The gene expression analysis revealed that feeding different milk replacers can affect immune response pathways.
