The dosimetric characteristics of (LiF)-Li-7:Mg,Ti thermoluminescent micro-cubes (1 x 1 x 1 mm(3)) were studied with respect to sensitivity, reproducibility, signal stability, and ability to recover a known laboratory-delivered dose. The study shows that (LiF)-Li-7:Mg,Ti thermoluminescent micro-cubes could be suitable for the determination of relative output factors in small photon fields of stereotactic radiosurgery.
