Summary: Nanomedicines offer promising therapeutic approaches for endometriosis, and can potentially improve treatment and diagnosis of the disorder through nanoparticle-based systems. Parallels are drawn between cancer and endometriosis to explore if established principles in cancer nanomedicine can be applied for novel strategies in treating endometriosis. Researchers have the opportunity to further develop and exploit the full potential of nanoparticles for the treatment and imaging of endometriosis.

Summary: Supercapacitors are gaining popularity in the field of energy storage devices due to their high power density, long cycle stability, and quick charge/discharge rates. This review focuses on contemporary methods to increase the power density, rate capability, cycle stability, and energy density of supercapacitors using hybrid topologies. The design of hybrid supercapacitor electrodes with high specific capacitance and the mechanisms involved are discussed, along with the evaluation of various electrode materials. The paper also summarizes the new trends and improvements in supercapacitor development.

Summary: The authors of this paper participated in a multi-site research program investigating Indigenous-led renewable energy development within Canada. Through introspective methods, they reflected on integrating gender considerations into their research team's governance and activities. The research found three critical lessons: embracing Two-Eyed Seeing or Etuaptmumk and allowing space for Indigenous leadership, trusting expertise from lived experiences, and shifting focus from 'gender-based analysis' to 'gender-based relationality'.
