Summary: The study found that manufacturing flexibility is a dual-dimensional concept composed of internal and external manufacturing flexibility capabilities, which are complementary and hierarchical in its development. Contrary to previous assumptions, internal flexibility does not always express its final competitive effect through external flexibility, which only partially mediates the relationship between internal flexibility and competitive advantage.

Summary: This paper uses the resource-based view theory to explore the relationship between green human resource management and green supply chain management, and tests their collective impact on the triple bottom lines. The study includes data from 212 firms in the chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, textile, and food industries. The main findings indicate that green human resource management has a positive influence on the triple bottom lines, and green supply chain management mediates this relationship. The study provides managerial implications and future recommendations.

Summary: There is a growing demand for flexibility in manufacturing to adapt to market volatility and provide customization for customers. Additive manufacturing (AM) is being considered as a solution to make production more flexible. This paper develops a conceptual model and application guideline to quantify the impact of AM on volume and mix flexibility in production systems. A case study is presented to demonstrate the potential impact of additive technologies on manufacturing flexibility. This work allows factory planners to assess the effects of AM on flexibility and design their production systems accordingly.

Summary: Organizational ambidexterity is a crucial strategy for firms to gain sustainable competitive advantages. However, not all firms can equally benefit from it due to resource constraints. Our study examined the impact of two internal boundary conditions, family management and formalization, on the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and firm performance. The results revealed that a higher level of family management weakens the positive impact of organizational ambidexterity on firm performance, and this negative effect is further intensified by a firm's formalization level. These findings enhance our understanding of why resource-constrained firms struggle when pursuing organizational ambidexterity.

Summary: This study finds that green innovation, environmental strategy, and pro-environmental behavior play important roles in facilitating the relationship between green human resource management and environmental performance in developing countries' manufacturing industry. The mediating and moderating effects of green innovation, environmental strategy, and pro-environmental behavior were tested using data from 410 manufacturing firm managers in Pakistan. The results highlight the significance of these factors in enhancing environmental performance through operational efficiency, appropriate environmental strategy, and human willingness to engage in environmental activities.

Summary: This study explores the relationship between green innovation, environmental policy, and green behavior in the workplace, as well as their mediation and moderation effects on green human resource management (GHRM) and environmental performance (EnvP). The findings show that green innovation, green behavior at work, and environmental policy act as mediators and a moderator in the relationship between GHRM and EnvP. The results also highlight the importance of GHRM activities in promoting green behavior and enhancing the social and environmental performance of companies.

Summary: This study aims to examine the impact of human capital and key competitive drivers on firm performance, as well as the role of outsourcing strategy and firm size in these relationships. The findings show that human capital strategies are crucial for the effective implementation of operational agility, quality, and cost management strategies, which in turn affect firm performance through outsourcing practices. However, these relationships vary across different-sized firms, with a lack of outsourcing practices among SMEs.

Summary: In this study, a thermoelectric composite was prepared using MoS2 as filler and SV4 slurry with PEDOT:PSS as matrix through solution 3D printing technology. The composites showed decreased electrical conductivity with the increase of MoS2 content, but achieved the highest power factor at 360 K with 69 wt% of MoS2. Additionally, the composite exhibited good flexibility after bending 300 times at a radius of 3.02 mm.
