Summary: Despite the use of molecular data to study invertebrates, the systematics of the pseudoscorpion family Chernetidae is still unresolved. This study provides a preliminary molecular phylogeny of chernetids, using mitochondrial and nuclear markers, to assess the subfamilial and generic relationships within the family. The results reveal the presence of a previously unrecognized subfamily and the nesting of certain genera within another subfamily. Additionally, three new subterranean species of the genus Lasiochernes are described from a karst region.

Summary: This paper describes a new species, Chryxus garcetebarretti sp. nov., found in Paraguay. The taxonomical notes are provided for C. bahianus Gil-Santana, Costa & Marques, 2007 and C. tomentosus Champion, 1899, with the latter species being recorded for the first time in French Guiana. Additionally, a redescription of the genus Chryxus Champion, 1899 is presented, along with an updated key for the genera and species of Chryxinae.

Summary: This review focuses on the taxonomy of Argophyllum in New Caledonia, discussing validly published names, description of a new species, and recognition of seven endemic species in the region. The leaf nickel content of A. riparium exceeding 1000 μg g(-1) makes it a nickel hyperaccumulator, a trait shared by all other species in the region except for A. nitidum.

Summary: This study provides an overview of the known species of the moss-inhabiting flea beetle genus Cangshanaltica in Eastern and South-Eastern Asia. It describes three new species and redescribes a species formerly placed in a different genus. The study suggests that some currently recognized species may represent species complexes and also extends the known distribution of Cangshanaltica to Indonesia.

Summary: The study reviewed the biodiversity of Amphileptus based on reliable morphological records, confirming the presence of at least 50 valid species with varying salinity adaptability and lifestyles. The high diversity of the genus in China may be attributed to intensive sampling. Phylogenetic analyses revealed the non-monophyly of the genus, and new species were identified through morphological and molecular methods.
