Using purely phenomenological approach we show that the peaking structures observed in the psi(2S)pi(+) and chi c1 pi(+) mass spectra in (B) over bar -> psi(2S)(chi c1)pi K+ decays can be result of (D (D) over bar ((*)))(+) -> (c (c) over bar )res pi(+) rescattering in the decays (B) over bar -> D-(sJ) over bar(->(D) over bar K-(*))D(*). In particular, the position of the peak in the chain (B) over bar -> D-s(2S)D--(+) -> K-(D) over bar*(0) -> K-psi(2S)pi(+) coincides well with the measured Z(4430)(+) mass. assuming the mass of D-s(2S)(-) (the first radial excitation of D-s(-)) to be 2610 MeV/c(2). The width of the Z(4430)(+) peak is also well reproduced in this approach independently of the width of D-s(2S)(-). Although the decay (B) over bar -> D-s(2S)D--(+) has not been observed so far and even DS(2S)(-)-meson is not discovered yet, this decay is expected to have large probability, and the mass of D-s(2S)(-) is predicted in the range (2600-2650) MeV/c(2). The broad bump in chi c1 pi(+) spectrum can be attributed to the (B) over bar -> D-s(2S)D--(+) -> K- (B) over bar D-0(+) decay observed with a large branching fraction followed by rescattering (D) over bar D-0(+) -> chi c1(pi+). ? Closure properties of (lim) under bar C

Leonid Positselski, Pavel Prihoda, Jan Trlifaj

Summary: This article studies the closure properties of direct limits of modules and provides specific results in special cases. The closure properties can be determined for some classes of modules, but further research is needed for arbitrary classes. Additionally, the article discusses whether pure epimorphic images of direct sums are equal to the direct limits of modules.

A new method for the measurement of the Michel parameters that describe the daughter muon polarization in the τ- → μ- (ν)over-barμ ντ decay

D. Bodrov, P. Pakhlov

Summary: This paper provides a detailed description of the method for the first direct measurement of all Michel parameters in the tau(-) -> mu(-) (nu) over bar (mu) nu(tau) decay related to the polarization of the daughter muon. The application of this method in future experiments at e(+) e(-) colliders is considered. Feasibility studies are performed for the Super Charm-Tau Factory and Belle II experiments, estimating the sensitivities to various Michel parameters.

Non-Semisimple TQFT's and BPS q-Series

Francesco Costantino, Sergei Gukov, Pavel Putrov

Summary: We propose and prove a precise relation between 3-manifold invariants associated with quantum groups at roots of unity and generic q. The relation connects the two types of invariants which were previously developed independently, opening up new avenues of research. It allows for the study of q-series invariants labeled by spinc structures in terms of non-semisimple invariants, and provides insights into non-semisimple TQFT's in relation to other invariants of knots and 3-manifolds in quantum field theory and string theory.

GENERALIZED LATTICES OVER ONE-DIMENSIONAL NOETHERIAN DOMAINS

Summary: This study investigates direct sum decompositions of pure projective torsion free modules over one-dimensional commutative noetherian domains, inspired by the representation theory of orders in separable algebras. A satisfactory criterion is provided for analytically unramified reduced local rings and for Bass domains.

Summary: We report the first observation of the Omega(0)(c) -> Omega(-)mu(+)nu(mu) decay and measure the branching fraction ratios of the Omega(0)(c) -> Omega(-)l(+)nu(l) decays in comparison with the reference mode Omega(0)(c) -> Omega(-)pi(+), (l = e or mu). Using data samples collected at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider, we extract the Omega(0)(c) signal yields and measure the branching fraction ratios to be 1.98 +/- 0.13(stat) +/- 0.08(syst) and 1.94 +/- 0.18(stat) +/- 0.10(syst) for Omega(0)(c) -> Omega(-)e(+)nu(e) and Omega(0)(c) -> Omega(-)mu(+)nu(mu), respectively. The ratio of B(Omega(0)(c) -> Omega(-)e(+)nu(e))/B(Omega c0 -> Omega(-)mu(+)nu(mu)) is measured to be 1.02 +/- 0.10(stat) +/- 0.02(syst), which is consistent with lepton flavor universality.

Summary: In this study, the branching fractions and CP asymmetries for the decays B-0 -> (D) over bar (0)pi(0) and B+ -> (D) over bar (0)pi(+) are measured using the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider. The results show that the measurements of B are the most precise to date and are in agreement with previous results, indicating the validity of the Standard Model expectations.

Inhomogeneity of a rotating quark-gluon plasma from holography

Nelson R. F. Braga, Octavio C. Junqueira

Summary: This study investigates the influence of rotation on the transition temperature of strongly interacting matter produced in non-central heavy ion collisions. By using a holographic description of an AdS black hole, the authors extend the analysis to the more realistic case where the matter spreads over a region around the rotational axis. The results show the coexistence of confined and deconfined phases and are consistent with the concept of local temperature in rotating frames developed by Tolman and Ehrenfest.

Constrain the time variation of the gravitational constant via the propagation of gravitational waves

Bing Sun, Jiachen An, Zhoujian Cao

Summary: This paper investigates the effect of gravitational constant variation on the propagation of gravitational waves. By employing two analytical methods, the study finds that variations in the gravitational constant result in amplitude and phase corrections for gravitational waves, and the time variation of the gravitational constant can be constrained through the propagation of gravitational waves.

Quantum tunneling from Schwarzschild black hole in non-commutative gauge theory of gravity

Abdellah Touati, Zaim Slimane

Summary: This letter presents the first study of Hawking radiation as a tunneling process within the framework of non-commutative gauge theory of gravity. The non-commutative Schwarzschild black hole is reconstructed using the Seiberg-Witten map and the star product. The emission spectrum of outgoing massless particles is computed using the quantum tunneling mechanism. The results reveal pure thermal radiation in the low-frequency scenario, but a deviation from pure thermal radiation in the high-frequency scenario due to energy conservation. It is also found that noncommutativity enhances the correlations between successively emitted particles.

Compact stars: To cross or go around? That is the question

Shahar Hod

Summary: The travel times of light signals between two antipodal points on a compact star's surface are calculated for two different trajectories. It is shown that, for highly dense stars, the longer trajectory along the surface may have a shorter travel time as measured by asymptotic observers. A critical value of the dimensionless density-area parameter is determined for constant density stars to distinguish cases where crossing through the star's center or following a semi-circular trajectory on the surface has a shorter travel time as measured by asymptotic observers.
