It is shown with a theoretical bending model that a laminated plate with piezoelectric and piezomagnetic layers can be used to harvest magnetic energy at relatively low frequencies. The output electric power and the energy conversion efficiency are calculated. The load dependence of the magnetoelectric coupling coefficient is obtained. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V.
