We study an extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model with a singlet supermultiplet S with coupling SH1H2 in order to solve the mu problem as in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model, and right-handed neutrino supermultiplets N with couplings SNN in order to generate dynamically electroweak-scale Majorana masses. We show how in this model a purely right-handed sneutrino can be a viable candidate for cold dark matter in the Universe. Through the direct coupling to the singlet, the sneutrino cannot only be thermal relic dark matter but also have a large enough scattering cross section with nuclei to detect it directly in the near future, in contrast with most other right-handed sneutrino dark matter models.

Summary: In this research, limits on spin-independent dark matter-nucleon interactions were presented using a 10.6 g Si athermal phonon detector with precise energy resolution. The study demonstrated the scientific potential of detectors with eV-scale energy resolution for future dark matter searches.

Confirming U(1)Lμ-Lτ as a solution for (g-2)μ with neutrinos

D. W. P. Amaral, D. G. Cerdeno, A. Cheek, P. Foldenauer

Summary: The recent measurement of the muon anomalous magnetic moment has confirmed tension with the Standard Model prediction, motivating the search for new physics. Among various particle physics models, the gauged U(1)(Lμ-Lτ) stands out for its simplicity. Future experiments, such as muon fixed target experiments and neutrino-nucleus scattering experiments, will provide crucial information on the nature of new physics behind the muon anomalous magnetic moment.

Summary: Recent experiments searching for sub-GeV/c(2) dark matter have observed event excesses close to their respective energy thresholds. By operating a detector at different voltages, researchers were able to identify an event excess in the tens of eV region at 0 V potential, and set a competitive exclusion limit on the dark matter-nucleon elastic scattering cross section for dark matter masses of O(100) MeV/c(2).数据表明,事件过剩的主要贡献与假设的探测器支架上使用的印刷电路板的发光一致。
