Summary: The study revealed that Es and IDL exhibit a 12-hour periodicity across three European mid-latitude ionospheric stations, as well as shorter periodicities. Es and IDL show a 6-hour periodicity in winter and an 8-hour periodicity in summer. Additionally, a 4-hour periodicity was observed in higher mid-latitude stations.
