Isovector axial form factor of the nucleon from lattice QCD

Summary: The isovector axial form factor of the nucleon is calculated using lattice-QCD and a new method to directly extract its z expansion from lattice correlators. The final parameterization of this form factor agrees with previous lattice calculations but shows a significantly smaller slope than suggested by neutrino-deuterium scattering data.

Summary: The differential cross sections of the Sigma(-) p -> Lambda n reaction were accurately measured and precise angular information about the reaction was obtained for the first time. The obtained differential cross sections show a slightly forward-peaking structure. These results play an essential role in updating the theoretical models of baryon-baryon interactions.

Axial-Vector D1 Hadrons in D*π Scattering from QCD

Summary: We present lattice QCD calculations for D * K scattering amplitudes, and identify low-lying D1 and D * 2 states with different angular momentum and parity. Our analysis of the scattering amplitudes reveals interesting features, including a near-threshold bound state and a narrow resonance peak.

Status of Lattice QCD Determination of Nucleon Form Factors and Their Relevance for the Few-GeV Neutrino Program

Summary: This article reviews the current status of theoretical and experimental research on neutrino-nucleon interactions, and introduces the method and results of using lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD) to calculate these interactions. The LQCD results show inconsistency with existing models, which may have significant implications for neutrino oscillation experiments.

Nucleon gluon distribution function from 2+1+1-flavor lattice QCD

Summary: In this study, the first lattice-QCD results were presented to access the x-dependence of the gluon unpolarized PDF of the nucleon. The results show that the fitted gluon PDFs at both pion masses are consistent with global fits in the x > 0.3 region.

U(1)A axial anomaly, η′, and topological susceptibility in the holographic soft-wall model

Summary: The singlet pseudoscalar sector of light mesons was investigated in the soft-wall model, utilizing a bottom-up approach to the AdS/QCD correspondence. The eta' mass arises from the mixing of fields dual to the axial current, pseudoscalar current, and the G (G) over tilde operator. The topological susceptibility was calculated for any quark mass, and the Witten-Veneziano relation was derived in the large Nc limit.

Decay of the pseudoscalar glueball into vector, axial-vector, scalar and pseudoscalar mesons

Summary: We investigate the ground-state pseudoscalar glueball J(PC) = 0(-+) by calculating its two and three-body decays involving scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector quark-antiquark meson fields. We compute the branching ratios using a parameter-free calculation and assume a mass of 2.6 GeV for the pseudoscalar glueball based on lattice QCD simulations. We also calculate the branching ratios for a pseudoscalar glueball mass of 2.37 GeV, which matches the measured mass of the resonance X(2370) in the BESIII experiment. The results are important for ongoing and planned experiments such as BESIII, Belle-II, and PANDA.

Intermediate descending layer and sporadic E tidelike variability observed over three mid-latitude ionospheric stations

Summary: The study revealed that Es and IDL exhibit a 12-hour periodicity across three European mid-latitude ionospheric stations, as well as shorter periodicities. Es and IDL show a 6-hour periodicity in winter and an 8-hour periodicity in summer. Additionally, a 4-hour periodicity was observed in higher mid-latitude stations.
