We solve the Faddeev equations for the two meson-one baryon system pi pi N and coupled channels using the experimental two-body t matrices for the pi N interaction as input and unitary chiral dynamics to describe the interaction between the rest of coupled channels. In addition to the N-*(1710) obtained before with the pi pi N channel, we obtain, for J(pi)=1/2(+) and total isospin of the three-body system I=1/2, a resonance peak whose mass is around 2080 MeV and width 54 MeV, while for I=3/2 we find a peak around 2126 with 42 MeV of width. These two resonances can be identified with the N-*(2100) and the Delta(1910), respectively. We obtain another peak in the isospin 1/2 configuration, around 1920 MeV that can be interpreted as a resonance in the Na-0(980) and Nf(0)(980) systems. .

N* states with hidden charm and a three-body nature

Brenda B. Malabarba, K. P. Khemchandani, A. Martinez Torres

Summary: In this work, the formation of N*'s in the ND (D) over bar* - N (D) over barD* system is studied. It is found that states with isospin I = 1/2 and mass in the energy region 4400 - 4600 MeV can arise with spin-parity J(P) = 1/2(+) and 3/2(+), indicating the existence of N* resonances with hidden charm and a three-body nature. The possibility of the existence of Delta(c) states, Delta's with hidden charm, is also discussed.

D1(2420) and its interactions with a kaon: Open charm states with strangeness

Brenda B. Malabarba, K. P. Khemchandani, A. Martinez Torres, E. Oset

Summary: In this study, we attempt to describe the X1(2900) as a three-meson molecular state of the KpD system in the invariant mass spectrum of D-K+ observed by the LHCb collaboration. The attractive interactions in all subsystems generate the D1(2420) and the K1(1270) resonating as Kp. We find that the system can form a three-body state but with a higher mass than X1(2900). We also investigate the KpD system, discovering an isoscalar state related to D*s1(2860) and an exotic isovector state with a mass similar to X0(2900) and X1(2900) but a very small width, which requires more than two quarks to describe its properties. Our findings hope to encourage experimental investigations of the isovector KpD state. Finally, in the search for a description of X1(2900), we study the K over line K*D* system and do not find a state associated with it.

Theoretical study of the γd → π0ηd reaction

A. Martinez Torres, K. P. Khemchandani, E. Oset

Summary: We have conducted a theoretical study on the gamma d -> pi(0)eta d reaction using a realistic model for the gamma N -> pi(0)eta N reaction. We found the rescattering of the pions and the eta on a different nucleon to be an important mechanism in sharing the momentum transfer of the reaction between two nucleons. Other contributions involving the gamma N -> pi(+/-)pi N-0' process have also been considered. The dynamics of our model provide a natural explanation for the shift of the eta-d and pi(0)-d mass distributions compared to a phase space calculation.

Exotic states with triple charm

M. Bayar, A. Martinez Torres, K. P. Khemchandani, R. Molina, E. Oset

Summary: This study investigates the possibility of the formation of exotic hadrons in the D* D* D* system. It is found that two D*'s can generate a bound state with JP = 1+, isospin 0. By solving the Faddeev equations within the fixed center approximation, states with J(P) = 0(-), 1(-), and 2(-) are discovered, which have charm 3, isospin 1/2, and masses around 6000 MeV, indicating their multiquark inner structure.

Exotic Properties of N*(1895) and Its Impact on Photoproduction of Light Hyperons

K. P. Khemchandani, A. Martinez Torres, Sang-Ho Kim, Seung-il Nam, A. Hosaka

Summary: This work outlines the findings of a recent study on the properties of N* (1895) and its impact on the cross-sections of the photoproduction of Lambda(1405). The possibility of an isovector state with a mass similar to Lambda(1405), referred to as Sigma(1400), is also discussed. The study sheds light on alternative processes in analyzing experimental data and motivates further investigations on Sigma(1400).

Masses and widths of the exotic molecular B(s)(*)B(s)(*) states

L. R. Dai, E. Oset, A. Feijoo, R. Molina, L. Roca, A. Martinez Torres, K. P. Khemchandani

Summary: This study investigates the interaction between doubly bottom systems using vector meson exchange and Lagrangians derived from an extension of the local hidden gauge approach. The full s-wave scattering matrix is calculated using the Bethe-Salpeter equation and unitarity in coupled channels. Poles are found below channel thresholds for several attractive interacting channels, and the widths are evaluated by identifying the dominant source of imaginary part. The results show binding energies of around 10-20 MeV and varying widths for different systems.

Brenda B. Malabarba, K. P. Khemchandani, A. Martinez Torres

Summary: The study investigates the decay properties of a D(2900) state and identifies D-s0* (2317)(K) over bar as the most favorable decay channel. The findings aim to aid future experimental investigations of charm mesons around 3000 MeV.

Partial decay widths of φ(2170) to kaonic resonances

Brenda B. Malabarba, Xiu-Lei Ren, K. P. Khemchandani, A. Martinez Torres

Summary: This study investigates the strong decays of phi(2170) to final states involving kaonic resonances, based on experimental data extracted by the BESIII Collaboration. The formalism developed interprets phi(2170) and K(1460) as states arising from three-hadron dynamics and explores different descriptions for K-1(1270) and K-1(1400). The results support the three-body nature of phi(2170) and provide insights into the properties of K(1460), K-1(1270), and K-1(1400) for future studies with higher statistics data.
