Kinetics of volume and enthalpy relaxation in Pt60Ni15P25 bulk metallic glass

We examined the kinetics of the structural relaxation in a Pt60Ni15P25 bulk metallic glass by density and enthalpy measurements. Measurements were made slightly below the glass transition temperature, with and without preannealing at a temperature above the glass transition temperature. The results are elucidated in terms of the two-components model, which includes positive as well as negative fluctuations in local density.
