Summary: This study demonstrates the tunability of luminescence in pyrochlore nanocrystals through photon energy manipulation and local site engineering. The investigation reveals the influence of different excitation modes on the emission color. The findings contribute to the understanding of structure-property correlation, photon energy-induced color tunability, and modulating local structure of lanthanide dopants in phosphors.

Summary: In this paper, we introduce optimal observables to measure the Pauli form factor F-2 of the tau-lepton in the pair-production process e(-)e(+) -> tau(-)tau(+) based on the intensity distribution of decay products. The spin-density matrix for the production process is calculated in QED up to order alpha(3), considering virtual photon-loops, soft bremsstrahlung, and gamma Z(0) interference. The decay channel (rho(-)nu(tau)) x (rho(+)(nu) over bar (tau)) is found to provide the best resolution for ReF2(s) and ImF(2)(s) due to its high branching fraction. We also examine the bias introduced in the determination of F-2 when the production spin-density matrix is taken at the tree-level (one-photon exchange) approximation.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel method for probing the axion-induced oscillating EDM in storage rings using a radio frequency (rf) Wien filter. The method generates a spin resonance at the frequency of the axion sidebands and g-2 frequency, and is confirmed by analytical estimation and simulation. A systematic study suggests that this method is unlikely to be limited by Wien filter misalignment.

Summary: The study measures isotope shifts for neutral Yb isotopes and constructs King plots, revealing nonlinearities and potential higher-order contributions in the measured isotope shifts. The analysis suggests the presence of at least two higher-order contributions and provides an upper limit for the product of couplings for a new boson, contributing to probing new physics through isotope-shift spectroscopy.

Summary: Several Li2Mg1-xSiO4:xMn(2+)(x = 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08 and 0.10) phosphors were successfully synthesized using a high temperature solid phase method. The optimal emission intensity was found at a Mn2+ ion doping concentration of x = 0.06, indicating potential applications in white LEDs activated by near-ultraviolet chips.

Summary: CR chondrites are suitable for studying the genetic linkage between metals and chondrules. The distribution and isotopic compositions of metals in CR chondrites were investigated using various analytical techniques. The results suggest that the variations in metal abundances and isotopic compositions can be explained by the condensation and fractional crystallization processes.

Summary: The study focuses on the triatomic molecule RaOH as a promising candidate for experimental investigation of P, T violation. It suggests that the dependence of P, T parameters on bond angle may significantly affect the observed values. The research used close-coupled equations to obtain the rovibrational wave functions of the molecule, and calculated the parameters related to sensitivity to electron electric dipole moment and scalar-pseudoscalar nucleon-electron interaction.

Summary: This study presents a theoretical and experimental investigation on the improvement and determination of the sensitivity of Rydberg atom-based microwave RF sensor. By setting up an optical Bloch equation, it is found that the sensitivity of the sensor is correlated with the amplitude strengths of the applied lasers and the RF, as well as the frequency detuning of the coupling laser. Experimental demonstration shows that optimizing these parameters can improve the sensitivity to 12.50(04) nVcm(-1).Hz(-1/)(2).

Summary: We propose a new linear relation called the dual King relation in the isotope shifts of atomic spectroscopy, which is the linear relation among different isotope pairs. This relation provides similar information to the original King relation without introducing new fit parameters. By using the fit coefficients consisting of nuclear factors, we can obtain constraints on the ratios of isotope dependence independent of electron wave functions, which helps to test the origin of unknown higher order isotope shifts. The dual King relation can also be employed to constrain weakly interacting light new bosons at the same level as the original King relation.

Summary: The spectrum of triatomic molecules with close rovibrational opposite parity levels is sensitive to the P,T-odd effects, making them a convenient platform for the experimental search of new physics. Among the promising candidates, YbOH is distinguished as a non-radioactive compound with a heavy atom and significant interest in l-doubling.

Summary: In this study, a theoretical description of optically pumped magnetometers based on the Voigt and Faraday effect using the Floquet expansion is presented. The analysis includes the dynamics of spin operators for the first and second-order moments, considering various pumping profiles and decoherence effects. The theoretical results are found to be consistent with previous experimental demonstrations across different fields and pumping conditions, and the analysis can be generalized and extended to different magnetometry schemes with arbitrary pumping profiles and multiple radio-frequency fields.

Summary: In recent years, with the expansion of the logistics sector, smart warehouses have emerged. Autonomous mobile robots play a key role in finding collision-free paths in real-time in their working environment. Model Predictive Control Algorithms combined with the A* algorithm show great potential in efficiently navigating collision avoidance problems. This paper proposes a Dual Forward-Backward Algorithm for solving a Model Predictive Control problem in a convex optimization framework, where the task is to drive a mobile robotic platform into a bi-dimensional semi-structured environment.
