In ZnGa2Se4 and ZnGa2Se4:Eu crystals photoluminescence (PL) at T=77-230K has been investigated. In the PL spectrum of ZnGa2Se4 maximum was found at 591 nm, ZnGa2Se4:Eu spectrum maxima at 566, 591 and 646 nm, but in ZnGa2Se4:Mn spectrum maxima were found at 626 and 641 nm. Most probably the introduction of Eu and Mn ions into ZnGa2Se4 decreases the structural defects. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
