Data on the isolation and structure determination of cycloartane glycosides cycloorbicoside G from Astragalus orbiculatus Ledeb. and cyclosieversioside A from A. sieversianus Pall. roots are presented. Preparations administered per os to male rats at a dose of 10 mg/kg increase the energetic potential of myocardium, contribute to inhibition of peroxide oxidation of lipids, and stabilize antioxidant and NO-ergic systems. A positive effect on myocardium metabolism was especially evident in rats with adrenaline myocarditis.
