Summary: This study examines the relationships between cognitive, affective, and conative images and aboriginal cultural identity among tourists. The results show that tourists' post-visiting values for cognitive, affective, and conative images and perceptions of aboriginal cultural identity were significantly higher than their pre-visiting values. For both sites, tourists' cognitive image was positively related to their affective image, and their affective image was positively related to their conative image. Tourists' cognitive image was positively related to aboriginal cultural identity for one site but not the other. Tourists' affective image was positively related to aboriginal identity for one site but not the other. Tourists' conative image was positively related to aboriginal cultural identity for both sites. The theoretical and managerial implications of the study are discussed, providing valuable contributions to current issues in tourism.
