Summary: The paper discusses the inconsistency between Voronoi neighbors and Euclidean neighbors in 2D and 3D cases in Voronoi tessellation. It is found that as the disorder degree of a system increases, the probability of the Voronoi Neighbor Anomaly (VNA) also increases.

Summary: The study found through CBCT image analysis that the main internal force of anterior border absorption of the mandibular ramus was the pressure during tooth development, and the release of pressure after tooth eruption may be a possible reason for the occurrence of supernumerary teeth.

Summary: This study compared the radiographic development of permanent teeth in children with and without supernumerary teeth (ST), finding that children with ST had higher DA values than CA values. Panoramic radiography was found to be adequate for determining dental development using the Demirjian method.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the genetic etiology of extra tooth phenotypes, including mesiodens and isolated supernumerary teeth. Through oral and radiographic examinations and whole-exome sequencing, seven out of eight patients were identified with heterozygous missense variants in FREM2. These findings suggest that mutations in FREM2 are associated with extra tooth phenotypes.

Summary: The study aimed to analyze the relationship between mid horizontal facial third proportions and maxillary anterior teeth width, and to determine the teeth width using different proportions. The results showed no significant relationship between the facial proportions and teeth width without modification. However, after modification, there was some correlation between the modified facial proportions and teeth width, with the results modified using Preston and 70% recurrent esthetic dental proportion found to be unreliable.

Summary: This study evaluated the role of lower facial third proportions and dental proportions in predicting maxillary anterior teeth width in Pakistani citizens. The results showed significant differences in interalar and intercommisural distance modified with dental proportions, indicating their role in predicting maxillary anterior teeth width. However, the golden proportion, 70% RED proportion, and golden percentage modified with lower facial third proportions were not reliable methods for predicting maxillary anterior teeth width.

Summary: This study aimed to determine the prevailing dental anomalies of shape in different age groups and genders, with a higher prevalence in males. Common anomalies included dilaceration, taurodontism, talon cusp, and the cusp of carabelli, with the highest frequency in younger age groups. Understanding these trends is crucial for dental practitioners in formulating treatment plans.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the prevalence and characteristics of supernumerary teeth in patients with cleft lip and/or palate. The results showed that supernumerary teeth were more common in male patients and mostly occurred on the cleft side. These extra teeth typically had atypical shape, reduced size, and delayed development.

Summary: This study aimed to measure the awareness of dental erosion and its relationship with beverage consumption among university students in Australia. The results showed a high awareness rate of dental erosion, with soft drinks and fruit juice being perceived as the most acidic beverages. Older students and those studying pharmacy, paramedicine, physiotherapy, or science had lower awareness of dental erosion. Students with better knowledge of dental erosion consumed fewer acidic beverages daily.
