Summary: This study examined the association of depression and anxiety with quality of life among Afghan women living in urban areas under the rule of the Taliban government. The prevalence of depression was high and it had significant impacts on the quality of life. Therefore, the international health organizations should implement screening programs for depression and anxiety and provide psychological counseling services.
