Summary: Research collaborations are common in the field of science, and they are usually evaluated through co-authorships. This study focuses on the homophily perspective in analyzing research collaborations in the social sciences. The findings suggest that geographic and institutional attributes play a significant role in collaborations, while acquired attributes, such as research agenda preferences, also contribute to co-authorship patterns.

Summary: This study conducted systematic literature reviews on 386 articles from the Web of Science database to identify the research trends and intellectual structure of chatbots and propose a future research agenda. The research gap and agenda were determined by analyzing keywords and investigating major articles and research topics. Research on chatbots has been rapidly increasing since 2021, with a focus on the theory of technology adoption. While biased perceptions of chatbots and ethical and security concerns are highlighted in newspaper articles, there is a lack of sufficient studies. Studies have explored the effect of chatbot humanness as a research variable, but there is insufficient research on individual factors and strategies influencing chatbot adoption and proliferation.

Summary: This article investigates the interaction between philosophy (of science) and formal research methods such as game theory and network science. The study analyzes citations in articles published in Synthese and Philosophy of Science between 1985 and 2021 to identify the use of game theory and network science. Through bibliographic coupling and community detection, the structure of the identified corpora is examined, and their diffusion in different sub-areas of philosophy is mapped. The results indicate that philosophers are interested in using game theory in various fields and considering its applications in empirically oriented disciplines. Additionally, philosophers focus on networks in debates on causality and scientific explanation, as well as in social epistemology. Comparatively, logic is more uniformly distributed in philosophy than game theory and network science. The article concludes by discussing the methodological limitations of the study, particularly in terms of field delineation.

Summary: The hospitalization rate for HIV-infected individuals receiving antiretroviral therapy has significantly decreased since 2008. In the later years, non-AIDS conditions, including liver disease, cardiovascular events, non-AIDS cancers, and kidney insufficiency, have become more common reasons for hospital admissions. The rate of in-hospital deaths among HIV-infected individuals has also declined, with AIDS-related conditions being the leading cause of death, followed by liver disease, cardiovascular events, non-AIDS cancers, and kidney insufficiency.

Summary: Open Science (OC) is a new model of science that emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and openness in research, involving aspects such as open access, open data, and new evaluation models. A survey of research vice-chancellors from 76 Spanish universities found that the majority of responsibilities for open science lie with the Vice-Rectorate for Research, and most universities have repositories available. Facilitating factors include coordination between vice-rectorates and library services, as well as institutional conviction for change.

Summary: The purpose of this study is to describe how a mixed methods approach was used to gain a better understanding of functioning in schizophrenia. A two-phase design was employed, with preparatory studies conducted to identify areas of convergence, followed by a consensus conference with international experts to finalize the list of functioning areas. The qualitative methodology, specifically focus groups with patients and families, played a major role in contributing to the final list. The experience of the experts' conference underscores the importance of a consensus process in capturing cultural differences.
