Studied are the variations of average annual soil temperature at the depth of 320 cm and of the depth of soil thawing in the Russian permafrost zone in 1963-2011. Revealed are the trends of mentioned parameters for the recent five decades and the trends for the early 21st century. Presented is a brief description of the dataset of daily values of soil temperature at the depth up to 320 cm and of the dataset of the computed depth of thawing at the weather stations of the Russian Federation that were used in the present research.
