Summary: This investigation examined the use of the Internet in Spain by young adults with intellectual disabilities and their perceptions, as well as the perceptions of their relatives, regarding the potential benefits and risks of Internet use for this population. Additionally, the study explored changes in these perceptions and Internet use during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings revealed that young people with intellectual disabilities have some awareness of the potential risks associated with Internet use. Moreover, during the confinement period, the participants increased their Internet use and perceived its benefits. However, their relatives showed greater concern about the potential risks and provided limited supervision.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the acceptance of a live chat on familial cancer risk by patients with cancer and their relatives and examine the factors associated with their intentions to use such a service. The results showed that 32.7% of participants were inclined to use the service, 28.9% were undecided, and 38.4% were not willing to use it. Factors such as performance expectancy, social influence, habit, perceived susceptibility, and perceived severity were positively associated with the intention to use the live chat.

Summary: Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and its close relative NeoCoV can efficiently bind to specific bat ACE2 orthologues and, less favorably, human ACE2 as entry receptors through their RBDs. The RBD-ACE2 binding interface involves protein-glycan interactions, distinct from other known ACE2-using coronaviruses. The findings suggest a promiscuity of receptor use and a potential zoonotic threat.

Summary: This study examined the association between migration background and awareness and usage of psycho-oncology services. The results showed that migrants have lower awareness of psychotherapy and self-help groups, and the under-use of psychosocial services can be largely explained by confounding factors.

Summary: This study aims to assess the quality of life and quality of care experienced by patients with advanced cancer and their relatives, taking their interdependency into account. The results showed that patients and relatives had low levels of emotional functioning. Satisfaction with care and continuity of care were positively associated with emotional functioning. A family-centered approach is recommended to optimize palliative cancer care.

Summary: Elasmobranchs, such as sharks, skates, and rays, have strong evolutionary adaptability and may provide important perspectives on phenotypic plasticity and adaptation in response to climate change. However, due to their long lifespan and delayed sexual maturity, research on the phenotypic plasticity of elasmobranch species remains limited.

Summary: This study describes and assesses the COVID-19-related stigma among patients, their relatives, and healthy local residents in Zhangjiajie. The results show that stigmatizing attitudes and desire for social distance towards COVID-19 patients are common in all three groups. Therefore, public education, anti-stigma interventions, and policies are necessary to effectively control the spread of COVID-19 and aid in the recovery of a tourist city like Zhangjiajie.

Summary: In this study, boson star configurations in quantum field theory are constructed using the semiclassical gravity approximation. The semiclassical Einstein-Klein-Gordon system is reduced to the Einstein-Klein-Gordon system for N complex classical scalar fields. Various types of boson star solutions, including l-boson stars and multistate boson stars, are obtained. These configurations arise naturally as quantum fluctuations of a single field describing a many-body system. The results have potential impact on direct detection experiments related to ultralight scalar field/fuzzy dark matter candidates.
