Summary: Research shows that there is a coercive dominant discourse linking attraction with violence, which influences the socialization processes of many girls and women and poses a risk factor for gender violence. Men acting from the New Alternative Masculinities (NAM) model overcome this double standard through verbal and non-verbal communicative acts, setting conditions of desire for egalitarian and passionate relationships. By incorporating language of desire, communicative acts of NAM empowerment take a clear stance for preventing gender violence.

Summary: This paper investigates the label specificity attack problem, which involves manipulating the graph structure to change the label of a specific node. The authors propose the target-label principle and max-degree principle based on differential structural entropy to guide the attack, and design the algorithm DSEM. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the DSEM algorithm in performing label specificity attacks.

Summary: This research conducted four studies to investigate the factors influencing individuals' preference for high- or low-intensity visual stimuli. The results showed that when a product is imbued with sentimental value, consumers have a stronger preference for high-intensity visual stimuli due to their desire for memorability. However, this effect diminishes when the expected usage time frame of products is short. This study contributes to the literature on sentimental value, memory, and visual sensory marketing.

Summary: Glioma patients have varying preferences when it comes to receiving information about diagnosis and prognosis, with some wanting full honest details for autonomous choices while others preferring less detailed or only positive information. After diagnosis, patients express vulnerability and a need for practical information to regain some sense of control. Supportive staff can help reduce distress in patients.

Summary: According to the theory of "composition as identity" (CAI), a composite object is identical to all its parts taken together, which challenges the standard analysis of plural descriptions. The author responds to this by developing an alternative analysis of plural descriptions, which allows for the retention of CAI while accommodating plural forms.

Summary: This study investigates how paradoxical leader behavior promotes employee voice behavior through perceived insider status and organization-based self-esteem as mediators, and how this relationship is influenced by proactive personality as a moderator. The results show that paradoxical leader behavior positively relates to perceived insider status and organization-based self-esteem, which in turn positively influences employee voice behavior. Furthermore, the impact of paradoxical leader behavior is stronger for employees with low proactive personality.

Summary: Building upon social exchange theory and personality models, this study examined the mechanisms behind the impact of customer incivility on emotional deviance in employees. The findings revealed that negative emotions played a mediating role in the relationship between customer incivility and emotional deviance, and employees' resilience moderated this mediation.

Summary: Endothelial and epithelial cellular barriers are crucial for selective molecule transport, and modeling these barriers in vitro is beneficial for studying inflammation, disease mechanisms, and drug screening. A parallelizable microfluidic platform with ten independent cell culture chambers was developed for co-culturing cellular barriers with 3D tumor spheroids, demonstrating capabilities for real-time barrier tightness assessment.
