Summary: This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of triple-branched stent graft (TBSG) implantation as a treatment for acute non-A-non-B aortic dissection. The results showed that TBSG implantation had a low incidence of mortality and morbidity, and good remodeling of the dissected aortic wall during follow-up. The early outcomes of this technique were satisfactory.

Summary: This study evaluated the early outcomes of triple-branched stent graft (TBSG) implantation in older patients with acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD). The results showed that TBSG implantation resulted in an acceptable mortality rate in patients above 70 years old, suggesting that it can be a feasible surgical procedure for older patients with ATAAD when a total arch reconstruction is required.

Summary: This study assessed the anatomical and clinical applicability of six commercially available branched/fenestrated stent grafts for endovascular repair of post-type A aortic dissection (PTAD). The results showed high anatomical and clinical applicability for these devices, especially for the combination of fenestrated and branched devices.

Summary: This study structurally evaluated a modular branched stent-graft for aneurysms in the aortic arch using numerical simulations. The results showed that the stent-graft had minimal impact on the arterial wall, reducing the peak stresses in the aneurysm sac.

Summary: This study evaluated the early and medium-term outcomes of using double fenestrated physician-modified endovascular grafts (PMEGs) for total endovascular aortic arch repair. The technical success rate was high, with low 30-day mortality and no conversions to open surgical repair required. These results suggest that double fenestrated PMEGs are feasible and effective for total endovascular aortic arch repair, with a lower stroke risk compared to alternative strategies.

Summary: This study compared the results of two commercially available devices for branched thoracic endovascular aortic repair and fenestrated thoracic endovascular aortic repair. The results showed that both methods had excellent technical success and acceptable complication rates, but branched repair tended to have higher stroke rates. Meanwhile, fenestrated repair had a wider range of applicability.

Summary: This study analyzed the hemodynamic characteristics of the MIBSG devices through numerical simulation analyses. The results showed that the MIBSG exhibited improved hemodynamic features in most cases. The findings are of great significance for optimizing stent-graft design and predicting long-term outcomes.

Summary: This study designed and verified an aortic stent-graft by optimizing a specially constructed commercial descending stent-graft. The optimization process, using surrogate modeling and multi-objective genetic algorithms, resulted in improved flexibility and radial support force of the stent-graft. The results provide guidelines and a feasible method for designing aortic arch stent-grafts.

Summary: This study evaluated the feasibility and safety of a non-customized modular inner branched stent graft for total endovascular aortic arch repair in a porcine model. The results showed that the stent graft had excellent durability and biocompatibility, making it suitable for aortic arch reconstruction.

Summary: This study investigated the outcomes and effectiveness of different types of hybrid aortic arch repair for aortic dissection involving the aortic arch. The results showed that hybrid aortic arch repair promotes thrombosis of the false lumen while excluding intimal tears in the aortic arch.

Summary: This case study describes a 57-year-old female diagnosed with asymptomatic chronic type B aortic dissection, who was treated with a custom branched aortic graft and a stent-assisted balloon-induced intimal disruption and relamination technique. The combination of these techniques provided a proximal seal zone in the arch and allowed remodeling of the distal aorta for this patient with an aneurysmal type B aortic dissection.

Summary: This study reports the use and effectiveness of a combination of Castor single-branched stent grafts with other techniques in the treatment of aortic arch disease. The results of the study suggest that this combined treatment approach may be effective for preserving multiple supra-aortic branches and has potential clinical significance in the management of aortic arch disease.
