In Part 2 of this study, some physical and geometrical properties of several fabrics were determined from the yarn input parameters using the 3D virtual model that was developed in Part 1, including the important properties of forming fabrics used in paper making. The calculated properties were compared with the experimental values, which had a good correlation. This proved the validity of the woven fabric design and analysis system that was developed.
