Definition of Castrate Resistant Prostate Cancer: New Insights

Summary: Castrate resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) refers to the continued progression of prostate cancer in an environment with very low serum testosterone concentration. The current definition is outdated and needs to be updated with more accurate imaging modalities and biochemical measurements to assess clinical progression and the castration environment.

Interpreting Testosterone and Concomitant Prostate Specific Antigen Values during Androgen Deprivation Therapy for Recurrent Prostate Cancer

Signs of progression on F-18-DCFPyL PET/CT may appear earlier than on standard imaging modalities.

Inquiry into women's pathways to diagnosis of endometriosis: A qualitative study protocol

Summary: This study aims to describe pathways and experiences of women's symptom recognition, appraisal, and management of endometriosis, as well as identify differences among a diverse group of women. The data collected will be used to analyze similarities and differences in experiences to inform interventions aimed at achieving more timely diagnoses for women with endometriosis. This research will be the first to compare pathways to diagnosis of endometriosis in a socioeconomically and racially diverse sample of US women.
