Summary: The study identified 809 differential lncRNAs and 607 differential mRNAs in the orbital adipose/connective tissue of TAO through RNA sequencing, among which 52 genes were significantly related to extracellular matrix. Co-expression network analysis suggests that lncRNAs may regulate extracellular matrix remodeling in the orbital tissue of TAO.

Summary: Bone marrow contains precursor cells for osteoblasts and adipocytes. Recent studies have identified subsets of bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) that can differentiate into marrow adipocytes and possess diverse functions in homeostasis and regeneration. The trajectory of BMSCs towards marrow adipocytes is influenced by multiple modes of cell-autonomous and non-cell autonomous regulations.

Summary: This study identified lncRNA profiles in buffalo adipose and muscle tissues, highlighting a DE lncRNA, lncSAMM50, that enhances fat deposition by promoting adipogenic differentiation without affecting its host gene SAMM50. This suggests that lncSAMM50 plays a significant role in regulating fat deposition in buffalo.

Summary: We sequenced miRNAs from male and female flower buds of the dioecious plant Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. using Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology. Through bioinformatics analysis and association analysis with previous transcriptome sequencing data, we identified 80 differentially expressed miRNAs between female and male plants. We also predicted target genes for these miRNAs and established a regulatory network, identifying 12 core genes involved in sex differentiation in TK.

Summary: This study used whole transcriptome RNA sequencing to analyze the differential expression of noncoding RNA (ncRNA) and mRNA in visceral adipose tissue from obese and lean individuals. The results revealed the involvement of ncRNAs in inflammation-related pathways and identified an obesity-associated competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network regulated by circORC5 and circNTRK2.

Summary: The study shows that healthy aging interventions globally reduce transcripts of noncoding repetitive elements, while aging and high-fat diet increase their expression. The reduction of RE transcripts with healthy aging interventions is associated with biological/physiological processes linked to aging.

Summary: Mandibular distraction osteogenesis (DO) is mediated by skeletal stem cells (SSCs) in mice, which promote bone regeneration through neural crest re-activation. Denervation prior to DO leads to reduced SSC amplification and osteogenic potential. Innervated SSCs dominate clusters related to bone formation.

Summary: Surgical implants have limitations due to the body's immune response, known as the foreign body response (FBR). Acellular dermal matrix (ADM) has shown promise in reducing the fibrotic reaction caused by FBR, but its mechanism is still unclear. Summary: The efficacy of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) in preventing microvascular thrombosis complications after autologous breast reconstruction is debatable. A study on patients undergoing microsurgical breast reconstruction found no significant differences in clinical outcomes between those who received postoperative ASA and those who did not. Routine use of ASA for preventing thrombotic complications may not be necessary.
