Summary: This study investigated the long-term impact of moral appraisals on psychological symptoms in refugees. Summary: This study aimed to examine the effects of a 12-week preseason training on body composition, running performance, biochemical markers, and workload variation in professional rugby players. The results showed significant improvements in anthropometry and running performance in forwards and backs. Total distance and impact during the second training block were higher, with backs showing higher values than forwards. Workload decreased significantly during the last training block, and its variation was correlated with changes in biochemical markers.

Summary: A growing body of evidence suggests that alterations in the gut microbiota-brain axis are associated with the progression and development of various pathological conditions and cognitive dysfunctions. Spinal cord injuries (SCIs) are often associated with anxiety and depression-like symptoms, with an incidence rate between 11% and 30%. These psychological stress-related symptoms are linked to poor prognosis in SCIs and may be related to changes in specific brain areas.

Summary: The study found that moral-injury cognitions have a significant impact on psychological outcomes among refugees, with three distinct classes of beliefs identified. It is important to pay attention to negative emotional responses following simulated events and understand the moderating role of blame appraisals in the association between moral-injury classes and psychological outcomes. These findings carry important implications for psychological interventions for refugees.

Summary: Psychological stress and physical activity have an impact on blood pressure variability, which is an important risk factor for cardiovascular events. Negative emotions and worksite location were found to significantly increase blood pressure, while physical activity had a weaker association. This suggests that psychological stress has a greater effect on blood pressure.
