Summary: In this article, Co0.40Zn0.40Cu0.20Fe2O4 (CoZCF) nanoparticles were synthesized using sol-gel method. The Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) micrographs show the encapsulation of soft magnetic nanoparticles inside multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and the fabrication of CoZCF-MWCNT nanocomposites. X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis and Raman spectroscopy confirm the multi-phase nature of CoZCF-MWCNT nanocomposites. The article also investigates the static magnetic development of the nanocomposites with temperature and the shielding effectiveness in X- and K-u-bands of microwave radiation.

Summary: This study synthesized two series of Energetic metal-organic frameworks (EMOFs) with different ligands and characterized their structure, thermal stability, thermal decomposition kinetics, and energy performance, showing a wide range of density and acceptable energy performance. Among these EMOFs, [Ag(tntrza)](n) stood out for its exceptional detonation performance and catalytic effect on the decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AP), broadening the horizon for oxygen-enriched EMOFs with catalytic effects.

Summary: In this research, copper ferrite was successfully prepared by a simple and mild sol-gel method, characterized by various analytical techniques, and found to have more crystal defects and large specific surface areas compared to pure iron oxide and copper oxide. The copper ferrites prepared at Cu/Fe molar ratios of 1/2 and 1/4 showed the best catalytic activities for the thermal decomposition of AP, with a proposed synergistic catalytic mechanism of Cu-Fe-O based on electron transfer and proton transfer theories.

Summary: This study focuses on the preparation of NiFe2O4 with different counter ions using co-precipitation method and investigates the effect of counter ions on the crystallite size and phase purity. The results demonstrate that the material with higher purity and smaller particle size exhibits the best catalytic performance. Moreover, the catalyst shows good stability and can be reused multiple times without losing its efficiency.

Summary: PA66/GN nanocomposite fibers prepared via the S3M method exhibit excellent dispersion and interfacial interaction, with improved mechanical properties compared to those obtained by conventional blending. The incorporation of GN into PA66 enhances crystallizing temperature, crystallinity, and thermal stability, leading to a significant increase in tensile strength.

Summary: A novel solution route based on metal-organic decomposition (MOD) process was developed for facile preparation of CoFe2O4, showing significantly enhanced electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) after calcination at 450 degrees C. CoFe2O4 integrated on carbon fiber paper (CFP) exhibited high electrocatalytic performance. The design principle of the MOD solution process could be applied to prepare a greater variety of compounds, and elucidation of structure-OER activity relationships in spinel-type CoFe2O4 electrocatalysts will advance further research in this field.

Summary: Nanostructured metal oxide (NMO)-based nanocatalysts are highly preferred in electrochemical sensing and other scientific disciplines due to their excellent catalytic or electrocatalytic activities. The objective of this investigation was to develop a facile, cost-effective, and dynamic catalyst for electrochemical sensing. Strontium ferrite nanocrystals (SF) were prepared using various surfactants (SF-CTAB, SFPVA, and SF-PVP) via the thermal decomposition method (TDM) and their effects on structure, morphology, and electro-reduction of flutamide (FLT) were investigated.

Summary: This study synthesized nanocomposites (NCs) containing SrFe12O19 and Bi0.9Dy0.1FeO3, where Dy-substitution increased the magnetization and dielectric constant of BiFeO3 (BFO), while increasing SFO content in the NCs led to higher magnetization but lower dielectric constant. The changes in capacitance of the NC samples in the presence of a magnetic field up to 150 kOe indicated a substantial enhancement of the magnetoelectric (ME) coupling coefficient of BFO in the nanocomposites, which tended to improve with higher SFO content in the NCs.

Summary: The study introduces a novel absorber of CuFe2O4/MoS2 composite, which combines magnetic ferrite CuFe2O4 with 2D MoS2 nanosheets to achieve a wide effective absorption bandwidth. The cooperative interaction of dielectric and magnetic loss results in effective absorption of electromagnetic waves in the entire Kuband and part of the X-band. This work presents a strategy for obtaining novel high-performance absorbers.
