Phase equilibria of the Cu-Cr-W and Cu-Cr-Mo systems were experimentally determined by using metallography, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron probe micro-analyzer (EPMA) techniques. Based on the experimental data determined by the present work, the thermodynamic assessments of the Cu-Cr-W and Cu-Cr-Mo systems were carried out by using CALPHAD method. A consistent set of the thermodynamic parameters has been obtained, which leaded to a good fit between calculated results and the experimental data in both the Cu-Cr-W and Cu-Cr-Mo systems.
