Summary: In this study, the downregulated lncRNA MIR503HG in pRCC primary tumor tissues was found to stimulate tube formation and migration of HLEC, promoting lymphatic metastasis. MIR503HG bound with H2A.Z and affected its recruitment to chromatin, leading to downregulation of NOTCH1 expression and subsequent decrease in VEGFC secretion and lymphangiogenesis. Moreover, upregulating MIR503HG expression decreased pRCC resistance to the mTOR inhibitor. These findings highlight the VEGFC-independent mechanism of MIR503HG-mediated lymphatic metastasis and its potential as a biomarker for lymphatic metastasis in pRCC.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the risk factors and develop a predictive model for central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). The analysis of collected data revealed that age, gender, multifocality, BRAF, and tumor size were associated with CLNM. The predictive model was shown to be practical and convenient for clinicians to predict CLNM in PTC.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the involvement of CD8(+) T cells in the lymph node metastasis (LNM) of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and identify significant CD8(+) T cell-related genes regulating LNM. The results showed a significant positive association between CD8 expression and LNM. Additionally, tumors with higher expression of FKBP4 had a significantly higher LNM rate, suggesting that FKBP4 could be a promising biomarker for predicting the risk of LNM in OSCC.

Summary: This is a case report of a 60-year-old man who was accidentally found to have a renal mass and bilateral thyroid masses during a physical examination. Imaging studies showed a hypoechoic mass in the right kidney and an iso-density shadow tumor. Contrast enhancement was observed, and it was confirmed that the renal cell carcinoma was not related to thyroid tumor after pathological analysis and thyroid tumor biopsy. The patient was still alive at the last follow-up.

Summary: This study presents a designed nanoprobe and nanonuclear drug for targeted therapy and prediction of lymph node metastasis in breast cancer. The nanoprobe effectively targets and accumulates in lymphatic metastasis, while the nanonuclear drug reduces the incidence and volume of lymph node metastasis. The nanoprobe and nanonuclear drug exhibit excellent stability and minimal toxicity. These findings provide potential alternatives for the diagnosis and treatment of lymph node metastasis.

Summary: This study analyzed the prognostic significance of lymphatic invasion (LI) and vascular invasion (VI) in patients with thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). The results showed that LI and VI were common in ESCC patients and were associated with disease-free survival (DFS). LI was found to be an independent predictive factor for DFS, and LI-positive patients were more likely to suffer lymph node metastasis.
