Summary: This study reexamines the balance of clustering and proposes a hybrid qualitative balanced clustering method. By identifying and prioritizing key features, constructing a feature value criterion, and implementing the developed clustering approach, a balanced clustering with the highest value and the least cardinality or similar to other clusters is achieved.

Summary: The study investigated the influence of joining time during the friction-assisted joining process, finding that high plunging rates provided higher heating rates and energy efficiency. High-speed joining hindered the formation and coalescence of porosities, reduced polymer overflow, and improved the strength of the joints.

Summary: Multi material pairings, such as metal-plastic hybrids, are increasingly important in various industries. However, substituting metals with plastics presents numerous challenges due to the combination of dissimilar materials. This study investigates the joining process between semi-crystalline polyamide 6 and austenitic stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 using reactive Al/Ni multilayers. The focus is on evaluating the joint strength and understanding the failure behavior and binding mechanisms at the fracture interface under tensile load.
