Summary: Aging leads to physical and physiological decline and an increased risk of chronic physical and mental illnesses, ultimately impacting quality of life (QoL). This study aimed to investigate the effect of religious-spiritual education and care on the QoL of the elderly through a systematic review and meta-analysis. Relevant studies were searched in various databases, and 12 papers with 317 participants in the intervention group and 321 in the control group were included for analysis. The results showed a significant increase in QoL after the intervention, suggesting that religious-spiritual education and care could be beneficial for improving the QoL of the elderly.
