The problem of determination of the scattered acoustic field in inhomogeneous materials is considered. The problem is reduced to solving the Lippmann-Schwinger integral equation by means of the Galerkin method. A subhierarchic method is applied to solve the problem for bodies of complex geometric shapes. The solution is implemented with the use of parallel algorithms on a supercomputer complex.
