Summary: Compound eye cameras are an essential part of bionics and have been widely used in various fields such as light field cameras, monitoring imaging, and medical endoscopes. However, the resolution of compound eye lenses is still relatively low, affecting their application. This study introduces a double-glued multi-focal bionic compound eye camera created using photolithography and negative pressure molding, which improves the optical performance and spatial resolution. The camera has potential applications in military, machine vision, and other fields.

Summary: We propose an implantable metaverse with retinal prostheses that work in tandem with bionic vision processing. Our approach differs from conventional retinal prostheses by rearranging electrodes to match the distribution of ganglion cells. To emulate human vision, we develop a scheme for bionic vision processing that visualizes monocular image, binocular image fusion, and parallax-induced depth map on a three-dimensional eye model.
