Geoglossum dunense, a new species of remarkable morphology, is proposed to accommodate collections from coastal dunes in Cyprus and Malta. Full macro- and micro-morphological descriptions are provided, accompanied by molecular data, extensive imagery and a comparison with similar taxa.
