Summary: This study compared the outcomes of total ankle replacement (TAR) and ankle fusion (AF) as surgical treatments for end-stage ankle osteoarthritis. The results showed that both TAR and AF led to improvements in clinical scores, but differed in terms of adverse events. TAR was associated with more wound healing complications and nerve injuries, while AF had more thromboembolism and nonunion.

Summary: Despite the societal relevance of digital food marketing's effects on adolescents' food attitudes and choices, there is limited experimental evidence on this topic. This study conducted a between-subjects experiment with Uruguayan adolescents to evaluate the effects of exposure to unfamiliar food advertisements on YouTube. The findings showed that exposure to food advertisements had the largest impact on advertisement recall and brand recognition, while the effects on brand attitudes and food choices were inconclusive. The participants' sex and frequency of burger consumption moderated the impact of ad exposure on these outcomes.
