Colorectal cancer is becoming an increasing concern as it is found to be the fourth most diagnosed cancer and the second most deadly in people aged 50 years and above. Undergoing colorectal cancer screening would help in detecting the disease at an early stage so that treatment methods can be initiated. But, studies of the US population found that half of people aged 50 or older had never had a screening colonoscopy, considered the gold standard of the screening modalities.
